Terms of Use

The translation is provided for convenience only. The Hebrew version is the binding text, and content sourced from the database (town names, services, and benefits) is displayed in Hebrew.

Last updated: August 28, 2026. Use of the website and services constitutes agreement to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please refrain from using them.

1. Who We Are

The website olimlaregel.com and the "Olei HaRegalim" WhatsApp service are operated by עולי הרגלים לרווחת עולי הרגל בע"מ (חברה לתועלת הציבור).

We are not a government body, a public authority, or a political organization. This is an independent public initiative.

2. The Service is Provided Free of Charge

Joining the census, using the website, and using the WhatsApp service are free. We do not charge any fees and do not request payment details. If you encounter anyone charging a fee in our name, they are not acting on our behalf, and we would appreciate being notified.

3. The Nature of Registration for the Census

Registration is a declaration of intent to participate in the pilgrimage. It does not constitute a legal obligation on your part to arrive, nor does it constitute an obligation on our part to provide transportation, accommodation, a place, or any service. Registration should not be relied upon for planning that requires certainty.

4. Information on Services in Jerusalem — Limitation of Liability

The website and the bot compile practical information for the pilgrims: locations, operating hours, accessibility, public services, and dining options. The information is gathered from public sources, open maps, and volunteer contributions, and is offered as an informational service only.

Please cross-reference any critical detail with the source itself before relying on it. We welcome corrections via the contact form.

5. The WhatsApp Service and Automated Responses

The service operates an automated response system and, in some cases, uses an artificial intelligence model to route questions. An automated response may make mistakes, misunderstand a question, or return a partial answer. It should not be relied upon for medical, security, halachic, or legal matters. In an emergency, please contact the emergency services.

Joining the WhatsApp service is done on your own initiative. You may opt out at any time by replying "Remove" or via the removal page.

6. Content Contributions from the Public

If you have sent us information, a location, or a photograph to enrich the services database, you declare that the content is yours or that you have permission to share it, and that it does not infringe upon the privacy of others or copyright. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish the content on the website and in our services, and to edit it for suitability. We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any contribution at our discretion.

Please do not send photographs featuring identifiable people without their consent.

7. Prohibited Use

We reserve the right to block access or remove any registration made in violation of these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The design, texts, logo, and original content on the website belong to us. You may share links and quote to a reasonable extent, provided credit is given. You may not copy the website or substantial parts of it for commercial use without written permission. Content from external sources is subject to the licenses of those sources.

9. Service Availability

We strive for continuous service but do not guarantee full availability. The service may be down for maintenance, due to a malfunction, or for reasons beyond our control, including service interruptions by third-party providers. We reserve the right to change, add, or discontinue services and features at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "AS IS". Subject to applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or other damage caused by the use of the website, reliance on information presented on it, its unavailability, or any malfunction. Our liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service — which is zero.

11. Privacy

The handling of your personal information is detailed in our Privacy Policy, which constitutes an integral part of these terms.

12. Changes to the Terms

We will update these terms from time to time. The binding version is the one published on this page, and the date of the latest update appears at the top. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new version.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts in Jerusalem.
